This section focuses on the digitalization of the teaching and learning of foreign languages in
Higher Education, dealing with all its aspects – from apps to Generation Z:

• curriculum design, classroom teaching and independent learning

• assessment & feedback (e.g. placement tests, examinations, marking)

• requirements for and impact on learning spaces (e.g. teaching spaces, independent study spaces, self-access centres, language labs, virtual spaces)
• how foreign languages are taught and studied (e.g. changing learning habits/communication, access to information/material, role of universities)
• tools/apps for instructors and learners (e.g. for vocabulary training, quizzes, surveys, creating exercises), conducted as 5 minute speed presentations
