Journey

If you arrive in Germany by plane, the closest international airports are Tegel and Schönefeld in Berlin. If you travel via Poland you have the possibility to arrive directly to Frankfurt (Oder) by train.

After arrival in Berlin-Tegel you can either take a taxi (approx. 12 €) or the bus TXL in the direction of Alexander Platz until Berlin Hauptbahnhof Central Station or the bus X9 until Zoologischer Garten. Tickets for the bus are available at the ticket booth or directly from the driver (approx. 2,70 €).
If you arrive in Berlin-Schönefeld you can either take the city train (S-Bahn) or the train (Regionalexpress, RE, also called Airport-Express) to the station Ostbahnhof.

Once you arrived at either Zoologischer Garten, Hauptbahnhof, Alexanderplatz or Ostbahnhof you can take the train RE1 directly to Frankfurt (Oder). The train stops at all these 4 stations and will cost 10€. Tickets can be bought at the counter or the red ticket machines.

The train station in Frankfurt (Oder) is located about 2km south-east of the event location and right next to the City Residence Hotel.
