Questions you should ask yourself before registering

Before registering for courses at the Language Centre, please ask yourself the following questions.

1. Am I admitted to a course at a certain language level?

You must have completed the next lower level at the Language Centre or taken part in a placement test.

2. For students who want to register for courses at the level "Wissenschaftskommunikation" (Academic Communication)

Have I already passed the UNIcert® II certificate exam or do I have equivalent language skills?

(Only for Bachelor students:) Am I already in the second semester? Bachelor students can only take this course from the second semester onwards.

3. For students returning from studies abroad:

Can I skip a language level or be exempted from a course? Please contact the "Lektors" / language departments.
