The placement test takes place every six months at the beginning of the semester. It is structured as follows:

Mandatory Spanish Placement Test

In the following texts, half of every second word is missing. (If the word has an odd number of letters, then more than 50% of the letters will be missing.).

First, read the title as well as the first and last sentence to understand the context. Then, fill in the gaps. You might not be able to complete the entire test, but don’t worry— even Spanish speakers usually cannot finish it entirely.

There are no capital letters in the text. Please write only in lowercase letters.

Entering Special Characters:

• The necessary accents (á / é / í / ó / ú) can be found in the number row at the top of the keyboard. First, type the accent mark ( ´ ), then the vowel (a / e / i / o / u).

• To type the letter "ñ," use the following keyboard combination: Press and hold the "Alt" key while typing 0241, then release the keys.

To familiarize yourself with the C-Test format, please take a quick look at the sample text.

You will have exactly 25 minutes to complete the test.

Prueba de nivelación   Tarea:
En el siguiente texto, a cada segunda palabra le hace falta la mitad de las letras. Si el número de letras es „impar“, entonces le hace falta una letra más de la mitad.

Lee los títulos de los textos, así como la primera y la última frase para comprender mejor el contexto. Después completa las palabras. No necesitas utilizar mayúsculas; escribe por favor sólo en minúscula.

Recuerda que la ausencia de acentos: á,  é,  í,  ó,  ú; así como de la letra "ñ" cuentan como una falta. Para el acento presiona primero la tecla ( ´ ) y después la vocal correspondiente (a / e / i / o / u).

Para escribir la letra "ñ", deberás utilizar el teclado numérico al lado derecho del teclado principal junto con la tecla ALT. La combinación es: ALT + 0241
